How To Add Halloween Effect To Images

21 October 2010 By Varun

Halloween is just a few days away and many of you would have started preparations for it. You must be going in stores, trying and buying different costumes for “the day”, but what about the online-you. Well, most of you must have planned to upload your Halloween images on different social networking accounts, but what a fun it would be to add Halloween effects to your friends’ photos, and upload them. To do this, you can use Google’s very own online image editing app called Picnik.

Google has added new Halloween effects in Picnik, to make this Halloween memorable for you. To add these effects to a photo, you simply need to open Picnik, upload the desired photo, and play along with the options like, Vampire Eyes, Draculan Dermis, Fangs, Blood Stains, and much more. If you are a premium member of Google Picnik then you can get some more options like Vampire Scope, Blood Splatter, and Wounds and many many more.

Picnik has a very simple UI and can be operated even by a newbie. I generally do not work on photo editors, but enjoyed working on Picnik, and got some good results. Go and check it out yourself.
