Nikon Launches 5 New Camera’s: S60, S710, S610, S610c, S560

Nikon has just rolled out 5 new digital camera models in the COOLPIX Series, this time Nikon has played a smart move by making a camera for every budget and every need. From the stylish to affordable to efficient, these new camera’s cover it all. Let’s have a look at each one, separately.


Nikon COOLPIX S60(The stylish way of photography) – This camera has just three for you to play with. They are the two buttons and the touch screen. It features auto-scene selection, image stabilization, one-touch portrait zooming, which automatically zooms in and frames a portrait, and an auto-focus and exposure lock. On the specs side it has got 10 mega-pixel camera with 5x Optical zoom and also 3.5 inch touch screen. It will be available it lots of colors and will start shipping from September 2008 with a price tag of $350.

Nikon COOLPIX S710(Good things come in small packages) – Lot of features packed in a small unit. A 14.5 Mega-pixel camera with 3.6x optical zoom and a 3-inch crystal clear screen. It will be available for $380 U.S.


Nikon COOLPIX S610 – A 10 mega-pixel camera with 3.6x optical zoom. The price will be $280 U.S. You must be thinking what is so special in this? Then check out the next one with an added ‘c’!

Nikon COOLPIX S610c(The new era of photography) – All the above features of S610 but the added ‘c’ donates the functionality of Wi-fi. It allows you e-mail or upload your snaps or pictures directly from the camera itself. You can upload the pictures to social network site, flickr or even blog it directly from the cam. This is what we call the next generation of camera’s. It will ship for $330 U.S.

Nikon COOLPIX S560(One Camera per Person) – Don’t have enough funds but need a camera that can do some good photography? Then check out the Nikon COOLPIX S580. A 10 mega-pixel camera with a whole lot of Capturing modes (To be exact, they are 15!). And also an auto-scene selector to get you of the confusion. Will be available soon for just $250. Perfect for gifting purpose, Isn’t it?

Nikon will once again continue its leadership in digital camera market as it just has camera’s for every need.
