Age of Empires Online (AoE: Online) is the latest Strategy game from Microsoft and because it's free to play, it has become hugely famous already. In this forum thread we will tell how you can play PvP matches (Player vs Player) matches, this is one of the most commonly asked question by the AoE Online beginners, they almost spam the chat area with this question.

How to Play Age of Empires Online PvP and 2P vs 2P

First of all I am playing the Egyptian mode, but that shouldn't make any difference, AoE PvP matches get unlocked after you have reached level 6, after this you have accept and complete the rewards before it becomes available. To play PvP, Go to World Map -> Enter Sparta PvP. See screenshots below:
