Laptop’s battery life comes into concern whenever we are working away from power sources. By default power consumption in Windows is not optimized and hence the battery life is very short and may even get over before expected. So when running on battery the power profile must be configured exactly according to our consumption needs. Nowadays most of the laptop manufacturers provide software to manage various power profiles. But those who do not have this utility can do it from Windows power settings. vlc player for windows

A new version of VLC Player v1.1.9 became available earlier this month, however this is not a major update but it does fix the security issues found in the earlier 1.1.8 release. Other changes were made to the looks and interface of the Mac OS X Version. Download the latest VLC player for Windows and Mac OS from the links below and if you have older VLC installation, upgrade to the latest release.

If you own PlayStation 3, then there is high chance that you will also be having its accessory called PlayStation Eye which is used for playing PS Move games and for online chatting. However if you are are not playing PS Move games anymore and your PS Eye is biting dust, then why not use it as a webcam on Windows. The next Windows OS appears to have leaked on Betarchive through an anonymous tipster. This version of Windows 8 is actually a very early Milestone 1 build with string 6.1.7850.0.winmain_win8m1.100922-1508_x86fre_client-enterprise_en-us.iso and is readily available at the torrent websites. However if you are going to use this alpha build better use a test PC, do not use this on your main working PC. More details and download link after the break.

So when one shifts from one coverage zone to the other, they are required  to change the IPs and a lot more settings.
