Its already been a while since Windows 7 news has been floating on the internet without any confirmation from Microsoft’s side. Researchers Developed Facial Expression Recognition Software

Researchers have developed an advanced algorithm which is capable of processing 30 images per second to recognize a persons facial expressions and categorizes them in any of the six prototypes facial expressions like anger, fear, disgust, happiness, sadness and surprise. Though the software is still in the prototype phase but it can still be used on a desktop computer or laptop, the software is also capable of recognizing facial expressions in video sequences in realistic situations. Inventor Ray Kurzweil in partnership with NFB (National Federation of the Blind)have developed a camera based reading software knfbReader that works with Nokia N82 5 megapixel camera and has the ability to read out the text from the pictures of printed page. It also has a voice guiding recognition system that would help them to take pictures from an optimal framing point. Press a button and most printed materials will be easily read in clear synthetic speech.

Huge List Of Upcoming Video Game Titles For Nintendo Wii and DS

Last month i posted about the Codemasters Upcoming Games for PC/consoles which has few games for Nintendo fans who might have wanted more so this time Nintendo has released a massive software video game lineup for year 2008 which will take you by surprise. In the first half of 2008 alone, more than 65 new Wii games are set to release.

Even third party publishers are  rolling out some of the most awaited software titles for Nintendo. Some of the innovative Wii games for the first half of 2008 include Ninja Reflex from Electronic Arts, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed from LucasArts, DeBlob from THQ,No More Heroes™ from Ubisoft, and Okami from Capcom, in addition to compelling Nintendo DS games like Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword from Tecmo,FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: Rings of Fate from Square Enix, and Quick Yoga Training from Ubisoft.
