Asus Eee series have been known for their battery life and portability. Another extension being added to this Eee series is the S101 model which is sporting the same configuration of Eee 901 but has some bigger capacity SSD Drives and the brown color (till now it is only the brown). Jerry Shen the president of Asus had itself revealed the new ultimate Asus S101 Eee PC in Taiwan. He followed the same trick of uncovering the machine from envelop as what Apple did for Macbook Air.

Hitachi has again set another record of setting up records every year. They are growing the rate of amount of data that can be stored per inch square in a magnetic recording disk. The rise which is being seen is nearly 40% per annum is giving the feeling that we are now finally entering the terabyte age.

Back in April 2005 Hitachi demonstrated 230 Gbit/in2 storage capacity, then it grew to 345 Gbit/in2 in September 2006, and it is now finally been raised to 610 Gbit/in2. The other prediction is that this perpendicular recording will finally reach its maximum level & thus further it cant be improved. The much awaited 3G technology is finally coming to India. Since past year, 3G was being in talks & the Indian Government lately but has finally introduced 3G spectrum in India. Currently 60Mhz of spectrum is available. One slot is being alloted to BSNL, MTNL. The other part will be soon auctioned and will also be open for international operators too.
