Apple’s iPhone Getting Double Launch with Airtel and Vodafone in India

Apple has finally decided to stay away from the exclusive single carrier deals and now it will roll out its iconic iPhone with Bharti’s Airtel network in India along with Vodafone network. Though not much details have been revealed yet but according to news sources the cost of the iPhone 8 GB will be in the range of 25,000 INR to 28,000 INR while 16 GB version will cost even more , the heftier price tag is not justified as its available in US at around 17,000 INR for 8 GB version. InPhase Intros 300GB Holographic Storage Technology

Inphase Technologies has developed a new form of storage discs which are based on the holographic technology and can record data at high densities thus posing a new competition to Blu-Ray( not really as the cost is too high). The 12 cm plastic discs can store upto 300 GB of data with lifespan of 50 years. However reading these disc drives requires a special drive called the Tapestry. World’s Smallest Colour Laser Printers From Samsung

Samsung Korea has introduced its two new small colour laser printers CLP-315K and CLX-3175FNK which it claims to be the world’s smallest colour laser printers available around. According to Akihabara the new printer CLP-315K is 20 percent smaller than the previous generation of the same series CLP-300, it features a resolution of 2,400 x 600 dpi, 32MB of internal memory, has a speed of 16 ppm(pages per minute) and operates at 45dB.

A cricket ball has been developed which can measure its own speed and display the ball speed measurement on the tiny LCD screen on one side, it also comes with a inbuilt long lasting  battery. Until now radar guns have been used to measure the bowling speeds of bowler and there’s always been a curiosity among the cricket fans in deciding the “world’s faster bowler “, with the new Speedsensor measuring technology inside the ball itself it might become possible to get the accurate speed measurement and thereby giving the crown to the one who deserves it. Nokia’s Upcoming Mobile “Tube” Leaked Touted as iPhone Killer

First the rumors and later some hands on pictures posted on several blogs make me believe that Nokia was not overlooking the iPhone’s huge success rather it was developing something that can compete with iPhone. Nokia has finally revealed(or say leaked) interesting Nokia Tube 5800 which is being considered as a iPhone killer so far. The features includes a 3.1 MP camera, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio with 3G UMTS/HSDPA and TV-Out port for a wide-screen view. The touchscreen(its not multi-touch) phone supports Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity teamed up with GPS and 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors. HP has also revealed its Mini-Note micro notebooks after the ASUS successful Eee PC. Micro notebooks is a new craze among the notebook makers and the consumers, and its not too far when you will be able to see feature rich compact notebooks with crazy price tag that’s hard to resist. HP has already entered into this segment with its low cost Mini-Notebook range of micro notebooks. The design of HP notebooks are better than the its ASUS and Everex counterparts and is built out of aluminum with a spill-resistant key layout.
