
Lenovo has unveiled an upcoming laptop/tablet hybrid at CES 2012 that will feature Windows 8 and a IPS capacitive touchscreen which can be used by converting the laptop into tablet with the help of 360 degree hinge. Ideapad Yoga has a nice looking design and its thickness is just 17 mm, it features the Intel Sandy Bridge processor, 10 point touchscreen, physical keyboard which disables itself when it is converted to tablet. After the success of Alienware M11x, Dell is looking forward to release another smaller gaming laptop, Alienware M14x. This 14-incher is not yet announced by Dell but images and specs of the device has already been leaked on the Internet. Dell surprised us when they launched a premium Alienware M11x, a 11.6 inch gaming laptop at the CES 2010, it is meant for the die hard gamers out there who wants portable gaming without giving out on graphics, M11x sports a 720p resolution display along with NVIDIA GT335M graphics for the crisp gaming experience, when not gaming it churns out 6.5 hours of battery life in standard mode, in gaming mode it dies out in sub 2 hours, but that is the case with all Alienware laptops.
Dell’s Studio 17 is now also available with Multi-Touchscreen support, it is the first Studio notebook to sport a touchscreen and comes with Dell’s own suite of touch apps like the photo browser, design remains mostly the same with a full size keyboard and number pad. It also has HDMI output and JBL stereo speakers.
Nokia forays into the Netbook world with its new sleek Nokia Booklet 3G featuring the current hot Intel Atom processor with main USP being its 12 hour battery life, HDMI Port and A-GPS. The ‘Nokia Netbook‘ is also HD capable and weighs only 1.25 KG and is durable as any other Nokia products.

Dell has announced the Latitude XT2 Tablet PC which is the first Tablet PC with multi touch screen capabilities. It allows users to use natural gestures like pinch or tap for scrolling, panning, rotating and zooming.
