Hitachi has unveiled new high capacity hard drives for the ever increasing data storage requirements of today’s consumer. The Desktar 5K4000 is one of the highest capacity hard drive that is available in the market right now, it is a 3.5 inch 4 TB HDD with 32MB Cache and features Hitachi’s CoolSpin technology that saves energy, runs cooler and is optimized for performance. Hitachi also announced an external 4TB Touro External HDD that will become available in January, 2012.
Western Digital has announced the availability of its highest capacity 3 and 2.5 TeraByte hard drives for the Indian market, these drives are aimed at AV market and people who love to store their content in high definition. These hard drives, thanks to their gigantic capacity, can capture upto 12 simultaneous High Definition video streams when used with PVR/DVRs, video surveillance and IPTV which is just pure awesome. Also these hard drives won’t work with Windows XP and 32 bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. So, make sure that you have the required hardware (with 64 bit OS) before you plunge into this for bragging rights.

HTC has just announced a new Android based 7” tablet named as HTC Flyer, it will be featuring a capacitive Stylus Pen that is pressure sensitive, enabling it to be used as a drawing pad with real pen experience. The innovative HTC Scribe technology allows for hand written notes that can easily be synced with the integrated Evernote, another cool feature within it is the Timemark, which allows inline audio recording with your note taking, tapping on notes will take you to the corresponding point in the audio recorded for easy reference. HTC Flyer tablet also boasts of unibody aluminum casing, 1.5 GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 32 GB of flash based storage.
