EA Mobile Launches 5 New Mobile Games

EA Mobile, a mobile division of EA entertainment has announced the availability of 5 new mobile game titles, these includes two new Sims games The Sims 2 Castaway and The Sims Pool, the other games includes Monopoly Here & Now, Yahtzee Adventures and Merv Griffin’s crosswords(a mobile version of a popular American TV show - Merv Griffin’s Crossword). Quake 3 Arena Ported to iPhone and iPod Touch- Youtube Video

This sounds unbelievable to me but when i saw this video it looks pretty real and the interesting part is that the ported Quake 3 game uses the inbuilt accelerometer for direction control and shooting is as simple as tapping on the touchscreen. The video shows Scott(the guy who did the import) with two iPod Touch devices playing Quake 3 multiplayer. Here is the Youtube video:

Street Fighter Four Available for $23,000

Well if you are a Street Fighter fan and a die hard gamer with deep pockets and do not wish to wait for the console release of SF IV then you can pre-order the Street Fighter IV Japanse Arcade for ¥2,394,000 yen($23,000). Street Fighter 4 Official Trailer Released

Have a first look at the Capcom’s Street Fighter Four characters E. Honda, Blanka, Abel, Zangief, Ryu, Ken, C-viper, Dhalsim and many more. This trailer has already been making rounds on the net after it was first revealed at the AOU arcade tradeshow in Tokyo, Japan. Sony Working On Playstation 4 With Backward Compatibility

There’s word on the street about the Sony’s next generation game console Playstation 4 which could be in the works and if rumours are to be believed the Playstation 4 will be solving the backward compatibility issues with PS3 and PS2. The rumour waves started to appear on the internet after Sony Computer Entertainment Japan rolls out an advertisement for a software engineer to deal with backward compatibility for both the PS3 and an unspecified next-gen console …that could be Playstation 4.
