Gionee has announced the availability of its E3 smartphone in India, one of the many from its upcoming Elife range, this series will boast of ultra sleek and stylish Android phones with the latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. Gionee has been late to enter the Indian market but since launch they have produced some very affordable and quality handsets. The latest E3 smartphone comes with 4.7 inch IPS HD display with 312 PPi, it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor and measures just 7.9mm in thickness. HTC has launched the much awaited and its prettiest creation till date, the HTC One in India, priced at Rs. 42,900 – the phone will compete with the iPhone 5, Sony Xperia Z and the upcoming Galaxy S4. Sony must have figured out that not all people want the mammoth 5 inch display screen of Xperia Z, to cater the need of those, Sony has launched today the Xperia SP, a new mid range premium phone that is powered by a 1.7 GHz processor and features a 4.6 inch HD screen with Bravia Engine 2 tech. It also has a 8 MP Exmor RS sensor based rear camera. HCL has launched three new affordable HCL ME Android tablets in the INR 6000-12000 range, HCL ME U2 is the cheapest one and is priced at Rs. 5,999, it features 7 inch 800 x 480 resolution screen and is powered by 1 GHZ A9 processor and Mali 400 GPU. The second model released is the HCL ME V1 tablet which is priced at Rs. 7,999, it features 1GHz A8 CPU with GC 430 GPU, it has the same 7 inch screen and resolution. Major difference is that V1 tablets comes with GSM voice calling and Data support functionality. Google has been busy launching new 4.2 Jelly bean devices, after the Nexus 10 tablet, Google has announced the Nexus 4 smartphone that has been built by LG and feature a quad core 1.5 GHz processor and 2 GB RAM.
