Sony Launches Wearable 3D Viewer in India, priced at Rs. 69,990

Today in New Delhi, Sony has announced the availability of next generation of immersion viewing technology via the wearable Personal 3D Viewer units in India, the model number of the unit is HMZ-T2, the viewer contains dual HD OLED displays, inbuilt sound system that is capable for virtual 5.1 surround sound, has support for both 2D and 3D content and it will appear as a 150 inch screen from 12 feet away.

How the Sony Wearable 3DTV work:HMZT1_India

The wearable unit connects to the HDMI pass-through(pictured above) which is also connected to your TV, if you switch off the wearable unit, whatever was on that will be instantly appear on your TV, switch the wearable unit on and the image will fall back for viewing in 150” virtual display.

The personal 3D viewer from Sony is a Head Mount Display unit which is also adjustable for different head size.
