Moving ahead in the game of shrinking chips for the betterment of computing Intel has unveiled new range of Ultrabooks that will be powered by the 3rd generation of Intel i3, i5 and i7 processors, these are built on the latest 22 nanometer fabrication technology, with these chips users will get 22% faster performance and at the same time these will be easy on battery consumption providing you ample time for productivity tasks.
Newer and Faster Intel HD 4000
Most of these ultrabooks, other than the ones having dedicated graphics will now feature the latest Intel HD4000 on board graphics processor which will allow you to play many PC games in at least low to medium settings.

Price of 2012 Ultrabooks:
We were told that the price of ultrabooks will start from Rs 50,000 for the fully featured ones and will be launched by Samsung, Toshiba, Lenovo, Asus and other OEMs. Core i3 powered ultrabooks will however be much cheaper and will start at Rs 15,000.

Intel also demoed the HD 4000 graphics chip that will replace the Intel 3000 onboard graphics in the 2012 laptops. HD Graphics 4000 is also capable of outputting 3D via compatible displays.
Also announced were the Intel 3rd generation Ultrabooks for Businesses, previously in May 2012, vPro platform was upgraded to 3rd generation.
