Working on an Android device without any Launchers installed on it sounds taste less. By default stock roms are boring with nothing much to do. Gradually it becomes tougher to manage more applications. Launchers like Go Launcher and Launcher Pro are already used widely by a lot of people. They are interactive and ease out many works with style. Still if you are not fully satisfied, then you can try Xperia Active Launcher.

Xperia Active Launcher can be used on any android device only running on version 2.3+. To use this launcher just install the apk file and restart phone once, you will be asked to select launcher. Select Sony Ericsson Home but do not select it as default application. Once it is selected the launcher appears.

You can drag and drop applications on the screen corners. These applications can be grouped according to your choice. To start the application just the corner section and drag the application. This launcher is not that stable and you may experience crashes.
