RockMelt is a Chromium based browser which is developed specifically for people who loves to remain connected with Facebook and Twitter 24×7. RockMelt was in private beta since November 2010, and until now it has been updated 15 times making it more stable. Finally the first public beta of the browser is now out.
While RockMelt looks much like Google Chrome, it still brings some positive differences to the table like shortcuts to online Facebook friends, RSS feeds, Twitter, Gmail accounts, and custom apps. RockMelt also allows users to use all Chrome apps from the Chrome Web Store.
On the downside, it is not meant for those who do not use social networking sites. For them it is nothing more than a bloated Google Chrome. If you are not one of them then RockMelt surely deserves a try.
