Apple’s Mac App Store which was unveiled yesterday has already surpassed the 1 million Mac App downloads and surprisingly has been hacked for pirated apps too. Mac App Store had over 1,000 applications available at the time of launch and more are expected soon. The new Mac App Store has been designed on the lines of successful iTunes App Store which is more of a reason of its quick popularity and the users were quite excited about it.
The above picture has been leaked at a Chinese website which clearly shows the upcoming PlayStation Phone that will join the Xperia family of devices and at the same time will feature a mobile Playstation XMB menu with a game launcher app named as PlayStation Pocket. However not much is known about the games that will be offered on this platform, most probably it will be the Android games that can played using the good old buttons and hopefully we might also see release of new titles made specifically for PlayStation Phone. Playstation 3 has entered into a new world of homebrews, with Kakarato announcing the first build of PS3 Custom Firmware, but for now it doesn’t do much, it just adds an option of “Install Package Files” in the Game XMB menu. The important bit is that now with fail0verflow tools and PS3 root key, custom firmware can be created for any version of PS3, be it v3.41 or the latest v3.55 firmware.
