Nokia Updates Ovi Maps for Web, Brings New Stuff

Nokia has recently updated it’s navigational service, Ovi Maps for Web. This new update brings a lot of new features to the service, like sharing favorite places, public transport links, getting your correct location, and many more.


These new features will make Ovi Maps more powerful, which is somewhat overshadowed by Google Maps.

Here is the list of changes introduced in Ovi Maps:

  • Links for public transport in major cities.
  • Wi-Fi positioning making one click route creation possible.
  • Location sharing via Facebook & Twitter.
  • Add your own photo with shared places.
  • Add public places for others.
