Google Reader for Android Now available in the Market

Google today announced the availability of  Google Reader App in the Android Market, now you can take all your feeds on your Android handset with this nifty app, the app supports most of the basic features of the desktop counterpart like sharing, starring, liking etc, additionally it also supports multiple accounts, full subscription features like adding subscriptions and searching from phone.

Other features include Volume key navigation, though you have to enable this in settings. Long press on a folder or subscription to bring up contextual menu for options for managing feeds, you can also send items using third party apps installed on your mobile using the “send” feature.
