Google has just released a new version of its Google Maps application in the Android Market, this latest version 5.0.0 comes with an improved map tiles caching functionality that allows for offline navigation when Internet connection is not available, other important features of this release are the 3D map view and faster rendering of maps using vector graphics that drastically reduces map loading times and saves data transfer.

• Explore maps in 3D , two finger drag up/down to tilt, twist to rotate.

The update to Google Maps is now available in the Android Market. You can download it by searching for Google Maps in the Market Application. Or use this download link from your Android mobile.
