Logitech G50 Vanguard Puts Stress on Ergonomics, Not on Hands

5 August 2010 By Varun

We just reported about the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 7, now we have come across Logitech G50 Vanguard, which is yet another superbly built ergonomic gaming mouse. Just like Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 7, G50 Vanguard also has a “star wars gadget” kind of look.

G50 Vanguard’s structure resembles that of a hand, hence making it super-ergonomic. Logitech also shifted scroll wheel on thumb rest, which is a great thought, as moving finger from mouse button to scroll wheel has always been very uncomfortable, especially in long run.

The mouse has a total of 11 buttons, and each one of them is customizable. Moreover, G50 Vanguard has mappable function button, which adds this number to 23.

Unfortunately, there are no words about the availability and price of Logitech G50 Vanguard. But i hope to see this “anti-RSI mouse” in the market soon.
