Find and Replace feature is one of the most important feature of any application which support inline text editing. You all may find it surprising that this feature is not available by default in one of the leading browser, Mozilla Firefox. Now here is a way you can have the Find and Replace feature in any variant of Firefox.
All you need to do is install a nifty add-on FoxReplace and restart the browser after a successful installation. The add-on not only adds find-and-replace functionality to justĀ text boxes and text areas, but also to entire web pages.
To initiate the find and replace option just press Shift+F2. Now enter the search string and replace string and hit the replace button.
Some other advance features like substitution lists, auto replace on page load and replacing URLs or images are also available to a user if at all needed.
