Google Now Integrates Picnik Magic with Picasa Web Albums

15 July 2010 By Ashish Mundhra

Google acquired Picnik back in March this year but it’s only now that Google  has integrated Picnik’s online photo editing tool for the users of Picasa Web Albums. Users can now directly edit all their photographs they have currently  in their web albums with out leaving their account.

With the integration of Picnik to the Picasa Web Album users now have access to various image editing and tweaking features such as resizing , cropping, contrast, saturation control, applying labels, stickers,  adding special effects such as embossing or changing color gradient etc. This integration will make image editing more easy and fun to use.

After you are done with editing the photograph you can save it directly to his Picasa Web Album as a new photograph or  replace the existing one.

Flickr users who were using Picnik’s tools to edit their photographs in Flicker Photo Stream need not worry as they can still use the service with out any problem.
