Making any operating system USB bootable is a task we may have to perform time to time. This situation mostly arises in case of netbooks and with people whose DVD drives are non functional and their operating system fails to start. With windows 7 being the most used operating system nowadays, it becomes mandatory to have an application at hand that can create a bootable USB drive for Windows 7. Though creating bootable USB drive is bit common technique using DOS mode commands, it is not very much convenient for novice users and the process is too slow. Windows 7 SSB Tool comes in rescue in these situation.

Windows 7 SSB Tool is a windows freeware application that lets you easily create USB bootable windows 7 setup in a few steps. It is simple to use and you can get started at once if you have windows 7 iso file. This application does not take the iso file directly, you have to extract the files in any location of your local disk and specify it to SSB Tool.

It automatically detects any USB storage drives connected and provides drop down list to select the preferred one. You can also format the drive before continuing. Once the process is started it takes few minutes for the bootable USB drive to be prepared.

Note: If your BIOS do not support USB booting then you will not be able to use this method.
