Mozilla’s first iPhone application Firefox Home, which was submitted to Apple Labs on the 30th of June’10, has been successfully approved yesterday. It is now available at the iTunes app store for all the Firefox fans to download.
Firefox Home allows users to view their Firefox desktop’s bookmarks, history and open tabs on their iPhone. To be very clear, this app is not a web browser like Opera Mini, you can think of Firefox Home as a portal or say a syncing application between your Firefox desktop’s browser and your iPhone.
To enable the syncing users will have to install a free add-on Firefox Sync on their desktop’s browser. Once installed you will be prompted to create a Firefox Sync account. After your account is created you can login using Firefox Home installed on your iPhone to sync all your data. To learn more visit Mozilla’s support page
