With the release of Opera Mini 5.1 for java phones that  added compatibility for lower end smart phones Opera has now launched version 5.1 for Android users Yesterday. In the updated release Opera claims that with the  integration of better kinetic scrolling and easier tab management users can have PC like browsing experience on their android mobile phones .

Some noteworthy feature updates in Opera Mini 5.1 are :-

• Improved lay out for high resolution pages with better tab support.
• Improved kinetic scrolling.
• Saving of session is the most remarkable feature of this update, So if by any chance your cell phone crashes while you are browsing your previous session will be automatically restored if you restart opera within an hour.
• Opera Mini can now be set as your default android browser for all your daily browsing needs.
• More than 96 languages are currently supported.
