Cache My Work: Resume with Applications you left before System Restart

28 July 2010 By Sourojit

While working on our systems we open several applications and perform multiple tasks. Sometimes these applications are too small or are portable and do not provide any shortcut on desktop. More over it is hard to remember all running applications, for this reason many users restrict themselves from shutting down their systems. Hibernation is an option that comes in handy but is not a good thing if practiced on a regular basis. Cache My Work is a useful application that can help in these situations.

Cache My Work is a windows freeware application that can cache running applications in windows. It does not provide much settings and is extremely easy to use. The only thing you have to do with this application is select the running software that you want to restore on next windows start up and select to restore windows explorer in next start up. Use the save button to create the cache.

Cache My Work restores applications in next start up but there is a difference between this job being performed in hibernation. It will not save your work but will auto start cached applications for you.
