Microsoft’s next generation of gaming technology that doesn’t require the use of controllers and which was previously referred to as Project Natal is now officially renamed as Kinect. This information has been leaked by USA Today along with details of some upcoming games for Kinect Motion Control System. With E3 2010 just around the corner you don’t have to wait much for Kinect, as it will be shown at the expo.
Since the leak, it has also been confirmed by Microsoft.

Kinectimals – Train and play with virtual pets
Kinect Sports - Play games like boxing, bowling, soccer, table tennis etc
Kinect Adventures – Multiplayer river rafting
Joyride – Play racing with imaginary steering wheel, like in the Kinect Demo video

There are also rumors of a new Xbox (Xbox Slim?) model with 250GB hard drive, inbuilt Wi-Fi which will go along with the design of Kinect.

Kinect will be having built-in camera, microphone with facial recognition capabilities, you can view pause play movies and games using your hand gestures or with voice control, it is expected to be the most advanced piece of gaming technology.

Kinect expected release date is Q4 2010, exact release date will be revealed at Microsoft E3 press conference.
