After much waiting, Google’s mobile OS, Android 2.2 Froyo finally released for Nexus One. Till now Nexus One was running on Android 2.1, which was slower than Froyo. So, Nexus One users were eagerly waiting for the launch of Android 2.2 Froyo for their devices.

Here are some of the features of Android 2.2 Froyo for Nexus One:

• Wi-Fi tethering.
• Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
• Speedier than Android 2.1
• More battery life
• Code runs upto five time faster on the new Froyo for speedy performance.

Google announced that Nexus One users will receive the OTA (over the air) update. This process is expected to continue for the whole week.  However, if you want it early, then download it from the link given below.
