I am gonna get an iPad for my family and i might have to jailbreak it. I had 2 questions: 1. Does your computer get screwed up whenever you use this jailbreak? 2. Is jailbreaking illegal?

1- Jailbreaking is safe, your computer will not get screwed up unless you download stuff from bad websites.
2- It is quite legal.
