Breaking: Airtel Confirms iPhone 3GS launch in India
After the most recent rumour of iPhone 3GS launch in India, some official words have finally appeared from Airtel. Airtel has confirmed the launch of Apple iPhone 3GS soon in India.
Airtel iPhone 3GS page is now up at the Airtel’s site, though the Airtel homepage still has no links to it. The page gives just the confirmation of the launch but no words on price or launch date has yet been up at the site. However due to the reaction of people/geeks all over the country, everyone is in a doubt whether this time it would be a success to launch iPhone 3GS so late in India?
Other operators are still silent. The last rumour pointed that 2 new cellular operators, i.e. Aircel and Reliance Mobile will join the company of Airtel and Vodafone.

Gosh, shouldn’t we be shifting to 4G? Instead, here we are still waiting for 3G! Besides, Airtel didn’t really fare spectacularly with the iPhone launch, right? I wonder what’s gonna happen now…
