Apple Unveils iPAD: Features, Price and Videos

Apple recently revealed its iPad which in fact being spectacular suffers from the lack of basic features like flash support, camera, USB ports, you will need a port convertor if you want to attach anything to it. Its happening all over again, the Apple joke, first they release a  great but lacking product than later make changes to piss off the early buyers, it happened with the iPhone, iPod Touch and now with the iPad.

 

Lets see what iPad is all about:

• 16,32 or 64 GB Flash memory
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi b/g/n
• 10 Hour battery life
• Half inch thick
• Weighs around 1.5 pounds
• In simple terms its a Giant iPod Touch

Apple’s iPad will be available at a starting price of just $499, kudos to Apple for unbelievable pricing. A total of 6 iPad models will be available

Shipping Date:

Shipping of iPads will start by the end of March 2010.

iPad India Release:

I seriously do not have high hopes for iPad release within India, the iPhone 3GS wasn’t even released here. Better to order via relatives and friends, though Apple is saying the iPad will be shipped worldwide after 6 months.

iPad India Price:

If it ever gets a release here, the starting $499 model will be priced at around Rs 27,000
