Yesterday ATI released the latest version 10.1 of ATI Catalyst graphics driver software for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. There are various performance improvements in this release for the 58XX series of ATI graphics cards, as much as 3% while playing Left4Dead and around 4% increase in Crysis. Most of the Windows 7 issues have also been sorted out in this release.

Apple recently revealed its iPad which in fact being spectacular suffers from the lack of basic features like flash support, camera, USB ports, you will need a port convertor if you want to attach anything to it. Its happening all over again, the Apple joke, first they release a great but lacking product than later make changes to piss off the early buyers, it happened with the iPhone, iPod Touch and now with the iPad.

GeoHot has finally released the PS3 exploit publically on his blog yesterday, the hack is a code level hack which is not yet useful for the end users, users who wish to play PS3 backup games downloaded from the Internet will be disappointed though, as the hack has yet to refined, a lot of securities have yet to broken, even if someone goes ahead and releases a working user friendly exploit, Sony will soon come out with a new firmware which again will lock users out.

Geohot tweeted today claiming that he has hacked the Playstation 3, in his latest blog entry he mentioned that the PS3 hardware is now hacked, how? He has gained READ/WRITE access to entire system memory of PS3, he also got HV level access to the processor of PS3 and all he has do now is write software for it and do some reversing.

New Firefox version 3.6 comes with many performance, stability and security improvements, so it is suggested to upgrade to latest version of Firefox immediately either by check for update link in the help menu of existing Firefox installation or download it from the Official Firefox Website.

LG has revealed the World’s first 14.1 inch flexible e-paper, that is almost like a traditional paper, as you can turn pages like you do on normal paper, the images remain crisp and text readable while you bend it 180 degrees and you don’t have to discard it daily, thanks to the digital distribution. This e-paper display is 300 mm thick and only consumes power when the image changes so its power friendly too. The technology used behind is slightly different that we have seen before as it uses the TFTs on metal foil rather than on glass, making it more flexible.
