Download DirectX 11 SDK for Windows Vista and Windows 7

directx_11There is a good news for Windows Vista users, the new DirectX 11 standard which is the latest version of DirectX used in the Windows 7 OS would now become available to Windows Vista users on Service Pack 2, if you are on older version  of Vista you need to upgrade to Vista SP2 to be able to use the latest platform in DirectX gaming. On the other hand ATI has revealed its first DX 11 graphics card, which is expected to hit stores by the end of this month.

DirectX 11 will be available for Windows Vista users as a Platform Update which includes latest DirectX 11 package and several other components like DirectWrite, Direct2D, Direct3D 11, Direct3D 10 Level 9, and DXGI 1.1 and updated libraries of Windows Graphics, Imaging, and XPS, also  Windows Vista SP3 will come bundled with the  final DirectX 11.
