Apple Launches New iPod nano with Camera, FM

This is the only major announcement of Apple Event yesterday, A new iPod nano with Camera(no pixel specifications were revealed), FM with Live pause functionality, VoiceOver(plays song/artist names to aid navigation without looking at screen), speaker and Pedometer. With the inbuilt camera you can shoot videos and can directly upload to your YouTube account, 15 special live effects are also there to change the look and feel of photos and videos. Other notable feature is the FM Radio with live pause with upto 15 minute of cache storage, you can also tag a song if you want to purchase it later on iTunes.

iPod nano is priced at $149 for 8 GB and $179 for 16 GB model.

  2. All nice except – $149?? I can buy a comparable music player with fairly similar features at Wal-Mart for $69. Apple needs to take their head out of the clouds.
