Buffalo Unveils Fastest Blu-Ray Media Burners

Buffalo has introduced two new Blu-Ray Reader/Writer which boasts of having burning speeds of 10X for single layer BD-R and 8X for dual-layer BD-R disks, they also support Blu-Ray Re-recordable media at 2X speeds. The new high definition burners are available in both external and internal flavors.

Apart from HD media, these devices also supports reading/burning CD-R/RW and DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+/-RW, DVD-RAM media. The external version of Blu-Ray Disc Burner BR-H1016SU2 is priced at $375 whereas internal version is priced at $320.

Releasing in September 2009.
