The most talked about feature in Windows 7 is the Aero feature which gives the transparency look to the windows. If you have got a good graphics card, then you must have enjoyed this great feature. But what surprises me a lot is that Microsoft has not changed the look of Command Prompt window. It’s the same old command prompt that has been left untouched since the launch of first windows version.
But now with Glass CMD you can give transparency look to your command prompt window as well. Glass CMD is a small AutoIt Script that works in the background and enables Aero on the background of any new CMD window. The utility is just 365 KB in size and you need to double click the EXE file to give glassy look to your command prompt. To disable this feature, just select exit option from its system tray icon.
Glassy CMD works for Windows 7 and Vista as well.
