Virgin Mobile Launches vGlide Slider Phone

Virgin Mobile has launched a new vGlide slider mobile for the youth population in India. It has a stylish slide design and basic features which will attract the young generation of the country. It is a low cost phone with a nice style quotient thanks to its soft touch finish.

The phone has a 1.8 inch screen with 65k colors. It has a dimensions of 47.5mm x  99mm x 18.5 mm and is available in Paparika red color. The phonescomes with FM Radio, a speaker phone and also supports around 2000 phonebook entries. It is a CDMA phone and also comes with stereo handset and a travel charger. Phone users will also be able to access the vBytes data portal that will allow them to download games, ringtones, wallpapers etc at low cost. Other functionality  included with the phone are a lifetime validity prepaid connection making it ideal for simple communication needs.

The low cost mobile phone is available for a price of Rs 2,399. vGlide is available with a starter kit of Rs 499 which include a prepaid connection with lifetime validity, 499 free local minutes and 499 free local sms for a validity of 60 days.
