Motorola Announces i3651S Intrinsically safe Mobile Phone

We are seeing a lot of innovation in mobile phone these days. Motorola is bringing out the i3651S Eco friendly mobile phone and can function as a Intrinsically safe device by offering low electrical and thermal energy. The phone comes in an ultra-rugged design and has been certified for military specification requirements.

 The mobile phone offers a protection technique that ensures safe operation of electronic equipment in explosive atmosphere with battery and other accessories. It also has an emergency call feature that allows the mobile to prioritize an emergency call over all other phone activities.  It also includes a multi simultaneous talk group which allows a use to listen upto 4 talk groups at a time. Other features include multimedia messaging service, 130 x 130 monolith display with 64K colors resolution, GPS navigation support, Bluetooth connectivity and speakers.

The phone will be launched by Sprint and no details about the price and availability is yet known.
