iPod Touch 2G Jailbreak: Redsn0w Semi-Tethered Version Released

Hard working guys of iPhone Dev Team has now released Semi-Tethered Redsn0w for iPod Touch 2G Jailbreak which solves some common problems related to the booting process. (See the comments at my Jailbreaking Tutorial). The latest Redsn0w lite Semi Tethered  lets you reboot or restart your iPod Touch 2G without having you going through the trouble of DFU mode and patching, All the Jailbroken apps installed will not work but your iPod Touch 2G will work fine (as new) after reboot and you can make your Jailbroken apps work after Jailbreaking again, when you are tethered to a computer. As this a still a version of tethered Jailbreak you must be having access to your PC for patching to Reboot/Restart your iPod Touch 2G for Jailbreaking goodness.

How Semi-Tethered is different from previous version of Redsn0w Tethered Jailbreak:

Previously if you are not at home and reboot/restarted your iPod Touch, it will be nothing more than a brick. You will have to go back to your PC -> using DFU mode ->Patch it before it works again.

Now with  Semi-Tethered release you can restart your iPod Touch 2G, and it work as if it was never Jailbroken, your Jailbroken apps will still be there but cannot be used before the application of Jailbreak patch.
