Sony Reveals Lightest Vaio P Series 8-inch Netbook

At the ongoing CES 2009, Sony has announced a new line of P Series Netbooks which are the World’s Lightest 8 inch Netbook. It weighs just 1.4 pounds and is small enough to slip into a jacket pocket or a small handbag. It looks better than most of the Netbooks around and its features are also impressive.
It has a 8 inch screen with LED backlit ultra wide display supporting a resolution of 1600 X 768 pixels. It uses Sony’s Xbrite Eco technology to provide a detailed picture. . It will have Windows Vista and connectivity options include Bluetooth, WiFi and 3g WWAN. A GPS unit is also present to help you find directions. It is available in a lot of colors which include garnet red, emerald green, onyx black, crystal white and classic black. The battery life is of 4 hours and you can extend it to 8 hours by optional enhancement. A web-cam and USB ports are also present.
The design of the Netbook is enough to make someone envious. It will be launched in February and will start with a price of $900.
