Lots of cool tech products are going to be showcased in the upcoming CES 2009 including some really cool laptops. One laptop that might get displayed at the show and is worth looking for is the HP Voodoo Firefly gaming concept laptop that even boasts of a secondary screen in a dual screen setup.
It is a result of a joint venture between HP and Voodoo and the prototype is ready to be displayed. It will have two displays, the main 17.1 inch display with 1920 X 1200 resolution and a small 4.3 inch display located just below the main screen. It even has a uniquely positioned multi-touch pad and a killer config which will run all the games at max settings. It has a Core 2 Extreme 2.4 GHz processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM. It will have two Ati Radeon HD 3870 GPU’s running in crossfire mode to deliver maximum performance. It has a 250 GB 7200 rpm hard drive and a Creative Labs X-Fi audio card supporting Dolby. Other features include a backlit keyboard and a webcam with night support.
It is currently only a prototype and there is no idea on how much time will it take to reach the stores. It will be showcased on CES 2009 and more information will become available after that.
