Apple’s iPod Touch is an amazing device and a quite a few music players can provide a good competition to it now Samsung has revealed the YP-P3 portable multimedia player which is a successor of YP-P2 and has got nice design and features which can provide some competition to iPod touch.

The device has been officially released in South Korea. It has a brushed aluminium body and a 3 inch haptic touchscreen display of 480 X 272 pixel resolution. It has a flash based User Interface which supports widgets.  It has Bluetooth 2.1 support which is A2DP compatible and comes with Samsung’s DNSe 3.0 Sound Engine. The company claims that it offers a 30 hour battery life. It has a built in speaker, FM Radio, voice recorder and can play MP3, WMA, AAC, Ogg, and FLAC audio files and  WMV9, MPEG-4, H.264 (480 x 272) video files. It also has flash games, dictionary and an ebook reader.

It is available and Black and Silver color. There are 4GB, 8GB and 16GB available at a price of $180, $211 and $248.
