Sony Vaio Z series Laptops Unveiled in India

Sony has launched the new Sony Vaio Z series of laptops in India. The Z series is aimed towards business professionals as it offers some strong feature but it is also quite expensive. It has a Carbon Fibre body and weights around 1.48 Kg. Its black matte finish gives it an elegant appeal.

It has a 13.1 inch screen supporting 1600 X 900 resolution. It will have two models VGN-Z13GN/B and VGN-Z12GN/B, and both of them will have some massive features. They will both be powered by Intel Centrino 2 processor, the VGN-Z13GN/B will have 4 GB DDR3 SRAM and 320 GB HDD while VGN-Z12GN/B will have 2GB DDR3 SRAM and 250 GB HDD. Both of them will come pre installed with Windows Vista business OS. The models also offers G Sensor Shock protection technology to protect the laptop and data in case of jerks and other sudden movements. It is also ideal for gaming purpose as it comes with Nvidia Geforce 9300M GS card. Finger print scanner is also provided for security purpose. Other features such as Bluetooth, WiFi , USB slots are present and users can also opt for a Blu Ray player. And its battery performance is also good as it can give around 6 hours of battery life in a standard battery.

The features are good but the price is expensive. The VGN-Z13GN/B will be available for around Rs 1,24,900 while the VGN-Z12GN/B will cost Rs 99,900.
