FireFox for Mobile Codename: Fennec, Free Download [Mobile Browser]

A Few months ago we talked about Mobile FireFox, now taking the development ahead Mozilla Labs has released a alpha version of mobile FireFox. FireFox fans can now enjoy their favorite browser on their mobile phones, available as a free download, the mobile version of FireFox is codenamed Fennec. The current release is basically a early developer version of the mobile FireFox for testing purposes, to get developer feedback and to gauge the initial feedback from users.

The new mobile browser is expected to focus on a new interface that reflects FireFox design principles, it will also add touch screen functionality and various other performance optimization features for mobile devices.

Currently the alpha version is only available for OS2008 (“Maemo”) software platforms that runs on the Nokia N810 Internet Tablets.
