So what do you think about the price of new Macbooks in India? you can get a fully blown gaming laptop at the entry level price of Macbook. They are not even at par with US pricing, Are the prices Justified?

This price is very much due to reccession. and by the way Apple.Inc if you want a share of PC’s dominant market share you should reduce the price level for Indian customer .Its by starting an Apple production factory in India.Their by you can keep price level to at par with that of US.

Mac is repeating the old trend that of first “Machintosh” “the customers have to pay a premium for their innovation” Mac was my dream machine but due to this price tag Iam going over to MSI WIND 120 priced Rs 25000/$586.which I call a recession laptop.
I hope thsi price goes down in2011.

Well if you have used a mac for regular basis you will find one thing and that is for sure. I have a 3 year old macbook and it feels a lot faster than a recent dell a friend bought. There is something about a mac that grows on you. And the irony is I was a PC user have always used a pc and linux. But the quality of the finished goods from apple is a class apart nothing comes close too it. I have used a dell xps laptop the highend ones and man if someone gives me a choice today between a new macbook and a XPS highest end. I would still go for a macbook even if the processor of the macbook is slower.
