We were expecting Grand Theft Auto 4 this November but now it seems Rockstar Games the publisher of GTA 4 has delayed the release to December 2. The game had already seen massive sales on the Xbox and Playstation platforms owing to its innovative gameplay and captivating features, PC gamers were awaiting GTA 4 release since long only to see it delayed again by 2 weeks, industry sources believe the delay has happened because of shipping problems.

We already discussed about the upcoming Windows 7 features, screenshots and videos yesterday, now some generous developer has shared the PDC ( Professional Developers Conference) pre-beta Windows 7 built via torrents and file sharing services. Developers were given alpha version of Windows 7 contained inside a free 160GB external USB hard disk drive at the PDC event.

Motorola Inc. have been playing an active role in the development of Symbian UIQ, also they have invested a huge amount in it. There was a time when the company had expectations from it but as they saw its failure, they have dropped upcoming models based on Symbian and further dumping the OS completely in 2009.
Motorola already have a confusing hybrid variety of phones which are based on various different platforms. To sharpen the line, Motorola heads towards Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile. However, the company will focus more on Android as it is an open-source platform and seems to have a bright future.

The latest version of Ubuntu linux version 8.10 codenamed Intrepid Ibex has finally been released and is available for download right now. New version release includes GNOME 2.24 and version 2.6.27 of the Linux kernel which brings several performance features along with 3G support. Ubuntu 8.10 has better flash support and includes Xorg 7.4, for input device hot-plugging .

Microsoft’s upcoming Operating System Windows 7 has been previewed at the PDC 2008 event showcasing the next gen features and screenshots of the Windows 7 pre beta version. Windows 7 is expected to be faster in terms of operation and in boot times, the OS will also feature full touch and multi-touch support for touchscreen based devices, along with support for up to 256 CPUs.

At the Casual Connect event in Kiev,Ukraine last week, Sony has announced that developers will no longer need to submit upcoming game titles for content approval, this move is expected to strengthen the PS2 offerings, as countries like India and Russia will be able to produce low cost PS2 game titles as there will be no PS2 licensing fees, the developers however still have to pay for the game development kit.

EA Mobile has announced NFS Undercover for mobile as its new Vodafone’s Flagship ‘Hero Game’ title for Europe this Autumn. Need For Speed Undercover is the latest title in the world’s largest selling racing game series, the new title is expected to bring back glory to NFS series as the last title ‘Pro Street’ isn’t very well received among the gamers. The mobile version of NFS Undercover will feature eight fully tunable cars, including the new Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911 and various race types including Circuit, Speed Camera, Highway Battle, Sprint and Bounty.
