Sony has made a new addition to there Vaio series with AW-series. This new range of laptops is aimed towards photographers and multimedia enthusiast as it has a big 18.4 inch screen and comes pre-installed with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Looking into the technical specifications, it has an Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 processor, 500 GB SATA drive upgradable to 1 TB or with 128 GB SSD flash drive. The graphics card provided is GeForce 9600M GT with 512 MB of RAM, so it is sure to deliver good graphics performance. If you are a movie fanatic, you will also love it as it comes with Sony Blu-Ray disc drive which complements the HD display which delivers vibrant colors in 1080p clarity. It also comes with an option of Adobe RGB color LCD screen which displays all the colors in the RGB color space.An HDMI port is also provided for those who prefer to watch movies in there big colors televisions. Users has the choice of specifying whether they want to install Windows Vista Home Premium, Vista Business or Vista Ultimate.

The laptop will be available in titanium gray and glossy piano black finish. It will start shipping in late September, the basic model will start from $1600 while the premium model will cost around $2000.
