Sandisk Extreme Card

The file transfer speed of SD cards are quite slow. Sandisk aims to change that with the launch of there high speed SD memory cards. There new range of cards is known as Sandisk Extreme III Edition and they can give speeds upto 30 megabytes per second. They are especially designed for the Nikon D90, new DSLR camera from Nikon.

Nikon D90 is one of the first products to support the card with its extreme performance. With the speed and performance boost, users will be able to capture 39 images in continuous shooting mode and 4.5 frames per second with a file size of 6 MB. Apart from that, these cards can also function in extreme temperatures ranging from -13 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. They have also got backward compatibility and can work with any older camera or other device.

They will be available in 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB capacity. They will be available in India around October for the price of Rs 2,499 , Rs 4,499 and Rs 8,499
