Asus Bamboo Series

Nowadays, companies are aiming to make there products Eco-friendly as well as recyclable. So more green products are being used in the development of laptops and other devices. Asus has also revealed there environment friendly Bamboo series of notebooks whose design will surely get your notice.

The exterior of the notebook is made from Bamboo which gives it a very unique look along with making it recyclable and durable. The use of Bamboo also ensures that all the different notebooks will have different pattern. It is not only the product that is green, the notebooks will also have green batteries which claim to give 35-70% more life and better performance by using Super Hybrid Engine technology.It will be available with 12.1 inch and 11.1 inch model. The 11.1 inch model comes with a Core Duo U7600 processor, memory can be upto 4 GB, an integrated GMA X3100 graphic for gaming, a hard disk of around 120 GB. It can also have an optical drive. The 12.1 inch  model has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS video card with 256MB video memory and hard disk capacity of upto 320 GB. It will also have WiMax support. Both these models will also have Card Reader and Webcam.

These notebooks weight 1.57 and 1.25 Kgs and they come with a 3 cell battery. The prices is not yet known.
