Apple’s Lets Rock Event : New iPod Touch 2G

Just hours ago Apple has unveiled all new iPod Nano 4th Generation of iPods and as expected has revamped the iPod Touch at the Lets Rock Event in San Francisco. The new iPod Touch 2G is cheaper and better than the iPod Touch 1st generation, Apple has done some selective tweaks to both the software and hardware. It has tapered edges and feels slimmer and lighter than iPod Touch 1G. Apple has this time thrown a built-in speaker which sounds decent enough, new volume control buttons and Nike+ integration, Apple calls it as Fun’nest iPod ever .

Also released is the Apple iPod Nano 4G:

Apple iPod Touch 2G price:

The new iPod Touch 8GB, 16GB and 32GB are priced at $229, $299 and $399 respectively. With the new pricing iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8GB version might become available in India at around Rs 10,000. So if you were waiting for iPod Touch then this is the right time.

Also its looks like it would take a while for Apple to release the new line of iPods in India as they have still not updated their India website.
